Being from the same city in North Carolina, Laura and Kevin were not strangers to each other when they started dating. Mutual friends had played a role
in their meeting and then things took off from there. They dated through college and into the early years of their careers when a weekend
away to celebrate their sixth year together took another turn.
Laura and Kevin planned to spend their anniversary weekend at Wrightsville Beach. A romantic evening stroll along the shore was where Kevin decided to pop the question. He proposed to Laura while on bended knee, offering a diamond ring as his commitment to their lives together. Following the beach proposal, they had dinner and champagne at one of their favorite waterfront restaurants.
It was an easy decision to have their wedding on the coast and, after their meeting with Ron Forlano, an even easier decision to have it at The Saltaire in Duck, N.C. One of their favorite memories from the wedding weekend took place as they walked, hand-in-hand, back down the wedding aisle. As they turned to see everyone, the significance of the moment hit as their friends and family surrounded them with their love, cheers and heartfelt best wishes for their happiness together. For Laura, that moment will be hard to forget.
